Welcome to the Green Bay Model Airplane Club website
- Learn to fly for free!!
Two GBMAC members (Paul Meyers and Dick VandeVelden) have volunteered to instruct
anyone interested in learning how to fly model airplanes.
Every Tuesday starting Tuesday, June 2 and running through August 25, GBMAC is sponcering "come out to the field and
learn to fly" Tuesdays.
No prior expirence is necessary and the club will supply the airplanes and all equipment necessary for your success.
Looking forward to seeing you at the field (location can be found under "Flying Sites"). A big thanks goes out to Paul and Dick
for running the program, and I'm sure if any other members are willing to help out, they won't be refused.
- Important Notice -
2015 dues are due on February 1 and considered delinquent on March 31. The GBMAC by-laws
(Section 8.01) require that a membership be automatically terminated when dues become 60 days in arrears. The club database
will be updated on April 1 to terminate all members who have not yet paid their 2015 dues.

The club is seeking nominations for membership on the by-laws committee. If interested, please contact Terry at
- The website has a new look and feel. The menus now work on cell phones and tablets and the fonts and layouts are
modified slightly. Click on the GBMAC in the upper left hand corner to return to the home page. I also changed the
menu layout so pages are more readily available.
- A new section of the the web has been added. Check out the Market Place. Members can buy and sell items by
sending the webmaster their ads for posting.
- Members - Log in and check out the Member Notices area of the Members Only section of the web.
- The 2015 dues schedule and annual budget has been approved by the club membership at the January 13 meeting.
The membership application must be filled out and returned to Roger Wright (Club Secretary) by email or snail mail on an annual basis. This year it is especially important to turn in your form because we are using it to input member information into the club's new database. The database will be used to maintain an accurate club roster and record dues payments. The membership application can be downloaded here
The board wishes to thank all members that were able to make the meeting a successful and enjoyable social and business meeting.
The GBMAC Board has established a policy that prohibits its members from participating in activities that are harmful
to the interest of the club as a whole. The policy can be seen here
(requires member login).
